Ladder of Hope is committed to providing support to young adults as they embark on their journey towards a better future. Our Job & Business Services (JBS) is designed specifically for this purpose. We understand that for many young adults, the path to a successful future may not be straightforward. That’s why we provide financial assistance to those who are interested in pursuing higher education or starting their own business. This includes support for tuition fees and job training programs.
In addition, we offer guidance and mentorship to help these young adults get started on the right track. Our aim is to help them overcome the financial barriers that may prevent them from reaching their full potential. With our support, these young adults will have the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their chosen field.
At Ladder of Hope, we believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. That’s why we have created an Academic Unit to support students from grade 2 to A/L level. Our support includes tuition fees and the provision of education materials such as writing copies, pens and pencils. In addition, we provide uniforms and shoes for school to help ease the financial burden on families.
We also run preschool programs at our centers in Naagapuram and Morakotanchenai. This provides young children with a solid foundation for their future education. Additionally, we offer evening classes for grade 1 to O/L students at our centers, providing them with a safe and supportive learning environment.
At Ladder of Hope, we recognize the important role that religion plays in many people’s lives. Our Religious Unit provides Christianity classes for children and special needs individuals. We have also printed and distributed Bibles and bible story books to our beneficiaries. Our aim is to help individuals deepen their faith and connect with their spiritual beliefs.
Ladder of Hope is dedicated to providing support for those with special needs. Our Special Need Sector offers handwork classes, counseling programs, and awareness programs to help these individuals lead fulfilling lives. We also provide financial assistance to those who have been affected by the last bombblast in Batticaloa. This includes medical support such as hearing aids, wheelchairs, walkers, and even an artificial leg for a man in need. Additionally, we offer Braille classes for individuals who are visually impaired.
Ladder of Hope is committed to empowering individuals to become financially independent. Our Micro Credit program offers small business loans and guidance to help individuals start their own business. This is a sustainable solution that helps people break the cycle of poverty by generating income. Once they have started to earn money, they can pay us back. This allows us to continue helping others in need.
At Ladder of Hope, we understand that medical expenses can be overwhelming, especially for those with serious illnesses. Our Medical Unit provides financial assistance to cancer patients to cover their travel medical expenses. We also support children who are suffering from rare and serious medical illnesses. In addition, we provide financial assistance to those affected by the last bombblast in Batticaloa, including medical support such as hearing aids, wheelchairs, walkers, and an artificial leg for a man in need.
